Fighting Spritual Warfare - The Christian Armour

As we continue from the last message on the Christian armour titled "Why we need the whole armour of God", today's message focus on Fighting the Spritual warfare with the WHOLE armour of God as written in Ephesians 6:10-20

As Christians, our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:12.

The spiritual warfare is like having issues with a professional regulatory body which is capable to withdraw a license of practice.  Thus, every Christian must be vigilant and understand there is an ongoing spiritual warfare.

We must not be ignorant of the wiles of the devil. 2Corinthians 2:11 says "lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices."
 
As Christians, though we are not of the world, but we live in the world - the enemy’s territory. Thus, we must shine the light of God to overcome the darkness of the world.

Matthew 5:14-16 KJV

14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

More so, the Church of God is a MOVING MIGHTY ARMY and not a sitting church. Every Christian is empowered and equipped with the Word of God to take territories for God.

The Christian full armour of God is both defensive (to protect a believer) and offensive (to attack the kingdom of darkness) weapons of spiritual warfare provided by God to help us finish strong in life.

In conclusion, the armour of God covers every area of our life and must be used rightly for its appropriate purpose.
