God is love!!!
God is love and we inherit the nature of love from Him. Every human being irrespective of their faith or background has the nature of love in them.

Love glues and sustain relationships with one another, with other created things and even with God.

Any relationship not binded by love will crumble in no time.  
In 1st Corinthians 13 verses 4 to 7, the Bible described what love is and what love is not. The qualities or characteristics of love is clearly explained and expected of us all.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 1st Corinthians 13 verses 4 to 7

Above all, love maintains its own proper character even in the midst of odds.
