The Word of God is alive and applicable to our daily life.

There are three (3) D's application of the Living Word of God in our lives. The first pragmatic D is:
1. Discipline
Let the Word of God be your standard.  For the Living Word teaches what to do, what not to do, when and how to do it. Even in times of turns and curves of life, allow the Word of God to be your standard, keeping you from falling into temptation.

1 Corinthians 10:13 says "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it."

When you're discipline, you remain grounded, rooted in God. As believers, James 4:17 admonished us to do the right thing, exercise the truth we have known in the Word of God.
James 4:17 warned that "If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn't do it, it is sin for them."
The pain of discipline is short time, while the pain of regret is long term.

2. Direction
As believers, we should allow the Word of God to lead and direct our paths.

May it be your finance, marital choice, career, academics, emotional including social lifestyle, always make it a habit to take direction from God.

"Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take." Proverbs 3 verse 6

When life is rosy and sweet, seek God's face. And when the journey of life seems daunting, seek God as well. Ask for His light because Light gives direction. Also, ask God for wisdom and direction to sojourn successfully.  James 1:5 says "If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking."

Let the Word of God be your friend.

3. Decision
Decide today to serve and obey God. Make a decision not to disappoint the Almighty God.
Everyone is a product of their decision.
So, make the right decision! Don't turn back from God.
Whatever you give yourself to controls you.
Friends, on a final note, I admonish you with this scripture - Romans 12:1 to 2
"So then, my friends, because of God's great mercy to us I appeal to you: Offer yourselves as a living sacrifice to God, dedicated to his service and pleasing to him. This is the true worship that you should offer.
Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect."

Thank you for reading and God bless you!
