The Labour of Love

Love labours, Love is actions!
Love is the greatest commandment as explained by Jesus Christ in Mark 12:30.

Loving God and loving your neighbour is a serious business - not a childs' play.

• Love is indeed a labour. 1Thessalonians 1:3

Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;
The labour of love produces beautiful things just like a woman in labour rejoices after a safe delivery. We are more likely to appreciate the beauty and blessings because of the labour of love.

• Love is actions and beyond mere words. John3:16, 1John3:16

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 1John3:16
Our heavenly God also laboured in love by sending His son; Jesus Christ to redeem us back to the original purpose of life. So, if you truly love God and your neighbour, be willing to ACT and care for them because love moves your heart, hands and legs. Love is a passion that drives your actions.

• Love glues and protects relationships

You will become inseparable from God if you love Him. Likewise, your love for your neighbour will define a harmonius relationship in the atmosphere. E.g David and Jonathan in 1Samuel 18:1ff, 1Samuel 20:11-17.
 And Jonathan caused David to swear again, because he loved him: for he loved him as he loved his own soul.1Samuel 20:17

The Greatest Commandment -- Mark12:28 -34
28 One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?”
29 “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”

32 “Well said, teacher,” the man replied. “You are right in saying that God is one and there is no other but him. 33 To love him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.”
34 When Jesus saw that he had answered wisely, he said to him, “You are not far from the kingdom of God.” And from then on no one dared ask him any more questions.
