The Kingdom Principle part 2
These Kingdom principles helps us to think and act as citizens of God’s Kingdom.

Here's the concluding part of the Kingdom principles. This message is a reminder of the six fundamentals also called the principles of God's Kingdom. They are essential in our walk with God especially as ambassadors of the Kingdom.

Be blessed as you read.
Once again, let me reiterate that the principles are essentials, helping us to think and act as citizens of God’s Kingdom. These principles are standards of the Kingdom of God and are required to maintain our citizenship. The kingdom principles are neither excusable nor easy to practice, but 'do-able'.  Every kingdom has its own unique principles, which might be identical but different. Thus, its important we look carefully at the applicable principles of the Kingdom of our God to put into practice.

The Six major principles of the Kingdom of God

1. The first principle of the Kingdom of God is Love.
According to Matthew 22:37-39, love is the great commandment. As ambassadors of His Kingdom, we are to
  • love God, the Great glorious King
  • love our neighbours, and
  • love yourself.
John 14:21 paraphrased says Love enables us to obey and live responsibly. You cannot obey the rules of a kingdom you do not love. In summary, love is unconditional and relentless.

Likewise in Matthew 5:44 - 46, King Jesus loves everyone including those who do not yet believe in him.
When we show love to others, we fulfill one of the Kingdom rules and principles – P. Labi
Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’  Matthew 22:37-39
He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and [a]manifest Myself to him.” John 14:21
2. The second principle of the Kingdom is Faith.
We receive all that we have by faith. Faith help us to please God.

The Great King is pleased in us when we trust Him. Faith is like a WiFi - it is invisible but connect you to God to collect His blessings.
Faith is so essential to communicate with and receive from God; our King. Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is the [a]substance of things hoped for, the [b]evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1
3. The third principle of the Kingdom is Forgiveness.
In Our Lord's prayer as recorded in Luke 11, verse 4 says forgive us as we forgive others.

Forgiveness is first a blessing to you and in return to the offenders. Without forgiveness, we are ‘stained’ by our past.
Acts 2:38, 1John 1:9 emphasised that we receive mercy when we confess our sins to God and embrace His forgiveness with love.
Let me encourage you to ‘let go and let God’.
And forgive us our sins,
For we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us. Luke 11:4
4. The fourth Kingdom principle is Judging.
Any judgment from a self righteous person is condescending and destroying (destructive). However, when you correct a friend according to the scripture and most importantly in love, that is called righteous judgment.

Romans 14:13 make up your mind not to be the cause of fall for others. Amen
Judge[a] not, that you be not judged. 2 For with what [b]judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. 3 And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?  Matthew 7: 1 – 3
Therefore let us not judge one another [a]anymore, but rather resolve this, not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother’s way.
Romans 14:13
5. The fifth Kingdom principle is Prayer.
Prayer is a means of communication in the spirit. The effectual prayer (communication) enables you to stay connected to the King in His Kingdom.  Through prayer and studying the Word of God in the Bible, we understand the will of God and receive from our good King. See 1John 5:14 below.

Obviously, no meaningful relationship can survive without effective communication. It takes at least 2 personality to communicate as one does the speaking while the other listen. Likewise in the Kingdom of God, you need to communicate with the King to stay connected. More so, prayer boost our confidence in God. And lastly, Prayer humbles us before the King. Read
2 Chronicles 7:14
Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.  1John 5:14
6. Finally, the last of the six major principles of the Kingdom of God is Giving.
An open hand receives back. See Luke 6:38 NLT below. Giving is universal. Whatever you give yourself to - maybe God, worldly desires, work, drugs, studies or money etc will definitely give back to you.
  • Giving is planting!
  • Giving is an investment which you receive back its yield (returns) usually bountifully in multiple folds.
  • So, give yourself to God, give your resources to the needy and bless the church of God.
Say to yourself: Give wisely to good cause!

You can also read Proverbs 3:9-10 and Malachi 3:10
Giving is an attitude of the heart. Once you give your heart to the Kingdom, it is easy to give material possession – P. Labi
Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.[a]”  Luke 6:38 NLT
In conclusion, these highlighted principles of the Kingdom are essential for every believer to remain as a good citizen of the Kingdom of God. In return, we receive the peace, the blessings and partake in the glory of His Kingdom. Psalms 72:7

Our prayer is that may we understand and remain in Him at all times. Amen.
