The Harvest Time

Harvest is reward time.
There must be at least a seed planted before anyone can expect harvest.  Harvest is the time for reaping. Harvest could be results of exams (for students), increase in believers (church), promotion (employees) and lots more. Lets learn together what the harvest time means to us as Christians.
Be blessed as you read and watch!
According to the principle of nature, there is no harvest without seed. In other words, there must be at least a seed planted before anyone can expect harvest. In this message, we hope to illustrate the concept of harvest using the farmer style.
We can literally say harvest time is a time to reap. That is, harvest is reward time. And reward is neither good nor bad. It's just an outcome of your efforts. Harvest could be results of exams (for students), increase (in church), promotion (for employees) and lots more. Simply to say that Harvest is judgement time.

Similar to the principle of nature and irrespective of faith or background, there is a supreme harvest for everyone on earth; which is the eternal reward. On the harvest day, some will be rewarded with eternal life while some will be condemned to hell. May God grant us the grace of eternal paradise. Amen.

Now, coming back to the harvest on earth, the book of Ecclesiastes explained diverse seasons of nature.
Ecclesiastes 3  To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
Often times, the harvest is much more than the seed planted.  Therefore, we are encouraged to sow carefully and bountifully.
John 4:30-38 30 Then they went out of the city and came to Him. 31 In the meantime His disciples urged Him, saying, “Rabbi, eat.” 32 But He said to them, “I have food to eat of which you do not know.” 33 Therefore the disciples said to one another, “Has anyone brought Him anything to eat?” 34 Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work. 35 Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest! 36 And he who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together. 37 For in this the saying is true:‘One sows and another reaps.’ 38 I sent you to reap that for which you have not labored; others have labored, and you have entered into their labors.”
You know the saying, ‘Four months between planting and harvest.’ But I say, wake up and look around. The fields are already ripe for harvest.  Do not say:
  • It’s not time yet!
  • Laziness / sleeping
  • They are spiritually blind
  • The people may not be ready yet
The kingdom harvest is now! Wake up!
The message of our Lord Jesus Christ is focused on harvesting every creatures to the kingdom of God; the ministry of reconciliation which we are partakers of it. Unfortunately, most Christian nowadays thought it's not yet time to preach the good news to the world. However, it's time to wake up. Don't feel lazy or sleepy any longer. Wake up and go about the Father's business in preaching the Gospel everywhere and to everyone. Let us all arise and share the Gospel, the good news to every corners of the world.  Let's #DotheWork  Matthew 28: 16 - 20

Do not be discouraged if the results is not yet coming as expected (Galatians 6:9). Never give up because the Lord of the harvest is here to help you through the journey. Please, continue with the good work and at the appointed time, the rewards will come. And the good side is there will be seasons of great harvest in the journey of sharing the gospel.

As Christians, our duty of service is to evangelise and make disciples of all nations. So, wake up to the task. May God bless you as you do so. Amen.
