Definitely, if your focus is on the real Gospel of the Kingdom, then everything else including wealth, health, success and other good things will come into place at the right time in your life.
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33
The real Gospel is focused on our Lord Jesus, emphasizing the Love of God unto everyone. 'And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come' Matthew 24:14.
Unfortunately, the on-going crisis in the world is fighting for the kingship, authority and struggling to be the King. Nations are fighting one another trying to overthrow the Kingdom with the intention to put God aside from the world. That's the reason for the reactions, oppositions and threats faced by Christians all over the world. Whenever the Gospel of the Kingdom of God is preached, there will be an instant reaction. The Gospel of the Kingdom contradicts and clashes with the kingdom of the world. It sounds like a threat to the rulers of the world. However, we should stand for the truth and pray for the Kingdom of God at all times even in the face of threats. For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. Romans 1:16
The teachings of the Kingdom is a strong pillar (power) and superior to any other activities in the church. Without the Gospel, there won't be any salvation, transformation, healing, deliverance etc in the church. Again, the Gospel is the foundation of the church. So, don't put it aside.
Any church or nation without the real Gospel is like a house built without foundation. We, as Christians preach the good news of the Kingdom of God! And whenever the good news is preached, miracles and signs follows because miracles are signs of the Kingdom. Read Luke 11:20 After this, Jesus traveled about from one town and village to another, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of God. The Twelve were with him, Luke 8:1
The Word of God represents His Kingdom and carries power!
Ecclesiastes 8:4 'Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?' Let us be like Paul and other disciples in Acts 28:30 - 31 who were encouraged and determined to preach and live the kingdom of God. 'And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own hired house, and received all that came in unto him,31 Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.'Acts 28:30 - 31 What is the Kingdom?
The word Kingdom first means the king, sovereign power ruling over a territory. Its not just about the territory, rather the kingdom emphasize the authority in that territory. From the beginning of the world, God is the King. In Genesis 1:1-5, God made everything to be in His Kingdom.
The Almighty God is Elohim; the King. He rules, reigns in divine majesty. However, as the population of men increase, many became cold to God. In fact, conflict in the world today is because so many people despise God. They don't want to do His will. Majority prefers to walk in their selfish way, hurting one another and claiming to be atheist. As Christians and children of the Kingdom, we have work to do: we must pray 'let thy kingdom come on earth'. Let thy Kingdom be established in our lives. Let us experience the goodness of thy Kingdom, oh our Good God. Amen in Jesus name. Remember, our God is a good King. Shalom!
