Want a great  harvest? Sow more seeds!

A bountiful harvest is a great, massive, 'come-and-see' harvest. It is extraordinary and requires a great effort. Literally, the harvest time is rewarding, and here are essential stages including tips to experience a bountiful harvest.

Be blessed as you read. Amen.
The exciting moment of harvest starts right from
  • preparing the ground
  • seed planting
  • nurturing (prune to protect the babies), to
  • fruit reaping and then
  • storing your harvested fruits.

Tips for a great harvest:

1. Want a great  harvest? Sow more seeds
Seeds of a kind matures at the same period of time, whether its planted on a backyard garden or on hectares of farmland. Literally, it takes the same period of time, but greater efforts to harvest bountifully.
So, if you really desire a bountiful harvest, go for it! Don't be discouraged by the great efforts required. Rather, go for the goal.
  1. Want a great  harvest?
  2. Sow more seeds!
2 Corinthians 9:6 Now this I say, he who sows sparingly shall also reap sparingly; and he who sows bountifully shall also reap bountifully.
2. Sow continuously
It is recommended to sow continuously without ceasing until the desired result is achieved. In the prayer room, believers are encouraged to PUSH; that is pray until something happens. In other words, you are encouraged to apply, put in more efforts until something happens.
Ecclesiastes 11:6 In the morning sow your seed, and at evening withhold not your hand, for you do not know which will prosper, this or that, or whether both alike will be good.
3. Ready to reap?
Identify your field
Open eyes to see what and where your rewards are. This comes immediately after sowing seeds of efforts. Recognise that not all grounds are ‘seeded’ or ready for harvest. It is worthwhile to know your territory.
John 4:35 Don't you say, 'There are still four more months, and then comes the harvest'? Listen to what I'm telling you: Open your eyes and look at the fields, because they are ready for harvest.
4. Safeguard your field
After labouring so hard for a bountiful harvest, do not be ignorant of wasters. A word of wisdom is not to waste your harvest to caterpillars or natural disasters. Safeguard your field.
  • Secure your rewards via prayers, preventive measures, and by helping others
  • Don't be stingy, which could instigate evil plan against you by some jealous fellows. A great harvest attracts both good and evil eyes. So, secure your harvest.
  • Amidst the celebration of a bountiful harvest, remember to give thanks to God. Return with testimonies to encourage other people and kindly give back to the church.
Hosea 10:12  Sow for yourselves righteousness and reap the fruit of loving devotion; break up your unplowed ground. For it is time to seek the LORD until He comes and sends righteousness upon you like rain.
5. Get more hands
And now that your bountiful harvest is here, you need more hands to reap your rewards. Seek more help especially for a great harvest. A big vineyard requires more hands, equipment to harvest, more helpers of destiny to approve your rewards, offer, contract, application etc Also, be optimistic and share vision as a team to save time and energy.
Luke 10:2   ….."The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.
Lastly, please remember to sow bountifully again. A smart businessman will reinvest again and again while a 'low key' worker will eat all his fruits without thinking of tomorrow.
Be wise!

Let’s Pray

Pray for the grace, wisdom and strength to enjoy bountiful reward in all your efforts.

2 Corinthians 9:10
Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.
