God is love!!!
God himself is the true definition of love. Thus, it is impossible to genuinely love others if we don't first love God.

Among other scriputes that talks about love, 1John 4 verse 8 says "He who does not love does not know God, for God is love." 

God is love and His love is eternal to all. It changeth not. A popular minister of the gospel; Rick Warren once said "God's love is like an ocean. You can see its beginning, but not its end". And because God is the originator of love, it is impossible to experience or express true love without God.
