Do not attempt to mess with God's approved plans. God is the ultimate builder, who has created us to build homes, nations, kingdoms more like him. Unfortunately, mankind missed it. When sin came in via Adam and Eve, human being became potential destroyers instead of builders. It now takes intentional efforts with the Grace of God to be the intended builders that God made us to be.
The building project could be physical like a temple, virtual such as a home, life, family etc. In fact, God builds life, career, homes, Churches, nations and everything else you can name. A typical example of God's building project is the temple. The Building Process
Against the plan?
For example, in the developed part of the world, you cannot just raise a building project without approval from the government. If done, you are liable to face the consequences. By choosing directly or indirectly to go against the approved plan, the offender is liable to face the undesirable consequences, which may include charges, fine or confiscated property. Likewise, if we don't build according to God's plan, such efforts is a waste. And most pathetically, it could lead to condemnation by God. For example, taking the Lord supper in wrong manner leads to damnation.
Where can I find the Divine Plan?
God builds everything!
The wisdom to build can only be received from God. The divine wisdom gives guidance and help us to confidently say "I'm living my life after God's approved plans for me. I'm not living after worldly race." The truth is we cannot just build anyhow. As believers, we cannot afford to live anyhow. There's a divine specification, which must be duly followed. Least to mention that while building, there's an important role of prayers. (Nehemiah 4: 8-9).
Thus, as we arise to build the kingdom of God on earth, we should be careful on how we build on it. 1 Corinthians 3:10-15 says "According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. 11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. 14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. God builds everything including both virtual and physical temples. For example in the Bible, the first physical temple of God was built by King Solomon while it's resources was provided by God. After King Nebuchadnezzar demolished the first temple, Nehemiah, Ezra and his fellow men arose to rebuild the temple. According to God's plan, the third temple will be built at the appointed time. Whatever God says its final. If He says: I'm the head and not the tail', it will definitely come to pass according to His Word. Irrespective of the opposition, He is faithful. However, whenever we derail from His way, it is advisable to humbly ask for mercy and return back to God in repentance. He is merciful to align us back to His plan. Also, the power of God only flow through obedience. If anything goes wrong, it could be too dangerous for the offender like the story of Uzzah and the ark of God in 2 Samuel 6:7 Summary
In summary, God is the builder.
