The Undiluted WORD of God

Connect to Collect

Connect to Collect
Watch your connection!

In life, your connection determines your collection. In other words, what you connect to determines what you collect.
Ironically, if you are not properly connected, then you stand the chance to either receive nothing or receive poorly. So watch your connection!
From the spiritual point of view, connection to God can be related to the WiFi internet. Its as simple as ABC. The strength of your internet is determined by the quality of the source WiFi. In other words, speed of the internet connection is about the quality of the source connection and not the quantity. Thus, a slow internet WiFi will frustrate your surfing moment by its snail signal. Now, lets come back to the message; connect to God.
Picture
Just like WiFi, you can stay connected to the good God and collect (receive) His blessings. Now, the quality of time invested with God determines your strength in Him. Life is full of principles and likewise our walk with God.

However, the good bits of it is that we have the freewill to choose what and when to communicate with God. In fact, we all have the freewill to choose to either connect to God Almighty or to say no to his love. Recognising this fact, the onus is on you and I to stay connected to God at all times not only to collect from Him, but also to know Him more. Our Lord Jesus encouraged us to abide in Him.

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. John 15:4-5
Connect, in other words means abide in Christ and you will be fruitful in Him. Unfortunately, some people declined this offer and sadly chose to be connected to sickness, sin, medicine or even hard drugs. In return, such people receive bad influence, hospital visits, low mood and other unpleasant life situations.

The choice is yours to connect, claim and collect your good inheritance in God.
Remember that  no one can receive benefits from a kingdom they do not belong to.

Today, I encourage you to connect to God and receive His goodness because our God is good. Connect to God and receive love because our God is love. Hello, God wants you and I to be connected to Him always. Stay connected!
Whatsoever you are connected to determines what you collect.

Addiction vs Connection

There is a correlation between addiction and connection. Let's quickly have a look at it:
  • Connection results in addiction. Whatever you do will feed you and later become your lifestyle. Thus, if your desired is great, work towards greatness. Connect to the source of greatness and that is Almighty God. Psalm 75:6-7. Stay connected to God. His grace, goodness will follow you everywhere and every time. Amen.
Awesome! The Almighty God is interested in every aspect of your life; academic, business, career, love, family etc

How do you connect

1.  Personal prayer

Prayer is communication with God. If you want to stay connected in God's plan, you need to speak to Him regularly. Don't be an acquaintance with God. Rather, make time for God to be His friends.
Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. James 4:7-8
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 1 Peters 5:6-7
2. Study and Live by the Bible
Now, studying the Word of God is great, but ineffective without application.
Of what use is a knowledge without application? Remember that the use of knowledge is called wisdom. Today, connect and be wise!

To have depth in the Word of God, you need to study and apply it in and out of season.
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15
3. Be part and serve in the church
Being a member of the church is interesting, but it gets better when you are responsible for a service in the church of God.  Service is a sign of responsibility. Kingdom service develops capacity. Good news! Your service develops your capacity. The more you serve, the best you become in God.
Definitely, God will repay (reward) your efforts in the service of His kingdom.
God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. Hebrews 6:10 NIV
....My Father will honor the one who serves me.  John 12:26b
4. Godly relationship
As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend. Proverbs 27:17 NLT.
Likewise, 2Corinthians 6:14 (NLT) admonished "Don't team up with those who are unbelievers. How can righteousness be a partner with wickedness? How can light live with darkness?
"Friends are like elevator. It's either taking you up or down the ladder of life." Dr Alawale.
In summary, be conscious of the friends you keep. Don't become too close with unbelievers. Its a matter of time, they will pollute your walk with God and recline you to conform with the world. Always remember there's no vacuum in nature. It's either you are of God or of Satan. Thus, choose wisely!
5. Live above sin
Above all, let your private life delight God. Right in your bedroom all the way to outdoor places, always connect to God. Do not attempt to live double-faced lifestyle. God is watching us from birds eye view. No man can hide in His presence. Don't allow your connection to be shady.

Conclusion

In conclusion, its your choice to connect to God and collect (receive) from Him. And most importantly, our walk with God is more about the connection than collection. So, stay connected to and with God!

Have a blessed week.
