In April 2019, we studied redemption via Jesus Christ. REDEMPTION involves the special Grace of God that not only forgives a man’s sins, but also restores and overrules all the loss occasioned by it.Col 1:20
This series focuses on the greatest commandment; to love God with everything we have and 'how' we can demonstrate our love to God and humanity.
Read Mark 12: 28-34 ....Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’[b]31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[c] There is no commandment greater than these.”
November was all about Excellence!
The Sunday school studies were designed to help us recognise and appropriate God’s provision for the Christian to live with the mindset of excellence in daily living.
Effectiveness in anything in life requires an understanding and preparedness. Many of us have not made it our duty to share the gospel regularly because, we are not sure of what to say. We need to practice how we can go about sharing the good news in different life situations.
Passion for the unsaved is a very important element for the harvest. Regardless of how we are encouraged to share the good news; without a passion for the lost, we cannot effectively and consistently obey the great commission.
The objective of this study therefore is to help us in developing passion for the harvest.
Today’s lesson concludes this series by taking us to the basic foundations of our services to the Lord. Everything we do in the house of the Lord, by way or service, actions, input, programmes, activities etc, must be towards a singular goal; to reinforce Christ’s influence in the lives of people.
